FROM THE NORTH: Take I-93 South to exit 24A/Government Center. Left onto Surface Rd; Left on Milk St; Left on Atlantic Ave, Long Wharf North on right past Marriott OR stay straight on Milk St, to park in Harbor Garage at the New England Aquarium, which will be on your right.
FROM THE SOUTH: Take I-93 North to exit 23 in the Thomas P O’Neill tunnel; Left on Surface Rd; Left on Milk St; Left on Atlantic Ave; Long Wharf North on right past Marriott OR stay straight on Milk St, to park in Harbor Garage at the New England Aquarium, which will be on your right.
FROM THE WEST: Take the Mass Pike (I-90) to I-93 North. Take Exit 23 (Government Center). Follow signs to the New England Aquarium which will require you to make a 180 degree loop onto Atlantic Avenue. There are parking facilities at the New England Aquarium Harbor Garage and the Boston Harbor Hotel, both on the right.
When you exit the parking garages walk north along Atlantic Ave. For the New England Aquarium Whale Watch, take a right past the Seven-Eleven Store. The boat leaves from Central Wharf (left of the Aquarium).
For MBTA Harbor Express, the Salem Ferry and Harbor Islands Express stay on Atlantic Ave. until you pass the Marriott Hotel. Then turn Right; the Ferry Center is about halfway down the wharf beside the docks, past Tia’s restaurant and the Marriott Hotel.
BY PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
BY TRAIN
Take MBTA Blue Line to Aquarium Station. Follow the exit signs for the New England Aquarium. Upon exiting the station onto Atlantic Ave. turn around and walk towards the waterfront. The New England Aquarium Whale Watches leave from Central Wharf (left of the Aquarium). For MBTA Harbor Express, the Salem Ferry and Harbor Islands Express walk through the Long Wharf Marriott Hotel. When you exit the hotel, turn Right, the docks are located ahead along with Boston’s Best Cruises ticket kiosk.
BY FERRY
Take the MBTA Harbor Express Ferry from Quincy (all year) or Hull (weekdays only). Take the Salem Ferry (seasonal). Take the MBTA Inner Harbor Ferry to Long Wharf, near the Aquarium. Walk around or through the Long Wharf Marriott Hotel. When you exit the hotel, turn Right, the docks are located ahead along with Boston’s Best Cruises Ferry Center. Alternatively take the Salem Ferry which arrives at Long Wharf North, adjacent to the MBTA Long Wharf North dock.

FROM HINGHAM, COHASSET AND SCITUATE: Take Rt. 3A North. Proceed over the Fore River Bridge to the Quincy Rotary; follow ¾ of the way around until the entrance to Harbor Express.
FROM ROUTE 3: Take Exit 16 onto Rt. 18 North for 9/10ths of a mile. At 2nd traffic signal turn Left onto Rt. 53 North and travel 2.5 miles. Turn Right at 2nd traffic light ( E ast Howard St. ) follow to end. Turn Right at traffic signal towards the rotary and entrance to Harbor Express.
FROM I-93: Take I93 South to the Braintree Split and merge onto Route 3 South. Take Exit 18 (Washington St.) at end of ramp turn Left. Take the first Right onto Church St. and follow to the end. Then turn Left onto Elm St. Elm changes to Hayward St. Continue straight to the end, and then turn Left on Rt. 53 North. Turn Right at 1st traffic signal (East Howard Street) follow to end. Turn Right at traffic signal towards the rotary and entrance to Harbor Express.
FROM DORCHESTER / BOSTON: Go over Neponset River Bridge and follow the signs for Rt. 3A South. Travel 4.5 miles to the rotary at the Fore River Bridge. Entrance to Harbor Express parking and terminal are off the rotary.
BY PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
FROM QUINCY: Take MBTA Bus Routes 220, 221 or 222 towards Hingham Center. Get off on Washington Street at South Street. Walk towards the Fore River Bridge and turn right into Harbor Express at the rotary. Select trips on Route 220 also service the terminal directly.
FROM WEYMOUTH or HINGHAM: Take MBTA Bus Routes 220, 221 or 222 towards Quincy Center Station. Get off on Washington Street at Dee Street. Across the street behind the rotary is the entrance to Harbor Express. Select trips on Route 220 also service the terminal directly.

Take MBTA Private Carrier Bus Route 714 (operated by JBL Bus Lines). This route starts in Hingham Center, and operates via Nantasket Ave. to Pemberton Point. Get off the bus at the last stop at Hull High School and cross the road to the dock.
BY CAR

FROM HINGHAM, COHASSET AND SCITUATE: Take Rt. 3A North to Route 228/Hull Street.
FROM HULL: Continue on Hull Street which turns into Nantasket Ave. Follow Nantasket Ave. for just over 3 miles. When you come to a fork in the road, take the left route along the shoreline ( Fitzpatrick Way). Continue for almost another mile and you reach another fork. Again turn left along the shoreline (Spring Street). Spring Street turns into Main Street. Continue on Main Street until you reach Hull High School. The dock is located across the street from the school. Free parking is provided at the High School lot along the shoreline.
